Cablegate's cables: Full-text search everything from Consulate Vancouver
“All of them, those in power, and those who want the power, would pamper us, if we agreed to overlook their crookedness by wilfully restricting our activities.” — “Refus Global“, Paul-Émile Borduas
We are forced to temporarily suspend publishing whilst we secure our economic survival. For almost a year we have been fighting an unlawful financial blockade. We cannot allow giant US finance companies to decide how the whole world votes with its pocket. Our battles are costly. We need your support to fight back. Please donate now.
secret will return cables which contain the words “secret”, “secrets”, “secretary”, etc. (starting with)
Equal (‘=’) prefix: =secret will return cables which contain the word “secret”, but NOT “secrets”, “secretary”, etc. (exact match, per term-based)
Dash (‘-’) separator: state-secret (or alternately "state secret") will return ONLY cables which contain exactly “state”, IMMEDIATELY followed by “secret” (exact sequence of words).
Tilde (‘~’) prefix means ‘broadly sounds like’ (aka fuzzy search): ~timoshenko will return cables which contain words which sounds like ‘timoshenko’. Important note: this prefix is ignored if it is used within a dash-separated or double-quoted expression.
When searching for more than one word, only cables matching (as per above) all the words are returned.
